24/08/2009 - Police investigate shops raid link
Police are investigating a possible link between an overnight burglary in Bushmills and break-ins at two gift shops at the Giants Causeway.
An appeal for any witness or information in relation to the thefts in County Antrim has also been made by investigators.
A sum of money was stolen from each of the stores, one of which was raided just 10 days ago, when gold celtic jewellery and silver souvenirs worth several thousands of pounds was taken.
According to police, cigarettes worth £5,000 and cash from charity collection boxes was stolen during an overnight burglary at a newsagent's shop in Bushmills.
