26/01/2009 - Ram-raiders steal valuable antiques
Antiques worth thousands of pounds have been stolen in a ram raid on a high street shop in Moreton-in-Marsh in the Cotswolds.
Two men took just minutes to ransack the shop after a green 4x4 was rammed straight through the door and later driven away by a third man.
PC Duncan Cusack, of Gloucestershire Police, said: "The owners are counting the cost of the items that were taken but they are expecting it to run into thousands of pounds.
"It is obviously causing a considerable amount of distress to them at the moment so we are hoping that anyone who may have information or saw suspicious activity in the area recently will come forward and help forward our inquiry."
