12/06/2009 - Thieves make off with Sugar Puffs
A lorry carrying a load of Sugar Puffs has been broken into in the early hours of the morning in a layby near Kilsby, Northamptonshire.
The curtain on the side of the lorry was slashed by thieves who then made off with a quantity of the breakfast cereal famed for its Honey Monster character.
Northamptonshire Police is appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in and around the area and is warning lorry drivers to be extra vigilant when they are parked up for a rest.
They are also being told not to park in isolated laybys and instead stop in official lit truck stops.
