02/02/2010 - Prodigy fan falls 15 feet at gig
A man has seriously injured himself by plunging 15 feet from a balcony at a dance music gig, according to police.
The 24-year-old from Angus was taken to Ninewells Hospital in a "serious" condition after officers and ambulance services were called to The Prodigy's concert at Caird Hall, Dundee.
It is thought he plunged about 15 feet while the group were performing on stage to a packed venue - one of a number of sold-out dates around the UK.
A Tayside Police spokesman said: "A man has fallen off a balcony at a Prodigy concert," and added that detectives were investigating whether he was pushed from the balcony or fell accidentally.
The Prodigy were playing the final UK concerts of their Run With The Wolves Tour in Scotland, supported by the Foreign Beggars, before they set off on a world wide tour at the end of February.
