05/07/2010 - Man dies in business park accident
An investigation is underway after a man died when he became trapped between a lorry and a forklift truck at a West Midlands business park, it has emerged.
The 42-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of Thursday's accident in Halesowen, but has yet to be named by police.
Emergency services were called to the incident at Coombs Wood Business Park, in Steel Park Road, at about 2.25pm, said a spokesman.
The investigation is being carried out by West Midlands Police and the Health and Safety Executive.
A police spokesman said: "Preliminary police inquiries at the scene have revealed no suspicious circumstances but, as usual in such instances, officers are preparing an initial report for the coroner, who has been informed."
