25/05/2010 - Picasso lithograph stolen in France
Thieves have stolen a Picasso lithograph and four paintings from an art collector's home in France.
Two men bypassed two security gates at the house in Marseille and broke through the main door.
The collector, who is in his sixties, was beaten up by the burglars before they took the lithograph - an expensive artist-produced copy of an original work - and four other paintings by different artists. Officials have not revealed how much the paintings were worth.
Last week, art with a price tag of £85 million was stolen from the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. The security alarms were broken and a Picasso, Matisse, Modigliani and two other masters' works were taken.
