02/11/2010 - Glass fears prompt lager recall
Carlsberg has issued a recall of bottles of lager over concerns they may be contaminated with small pieces of glass.
According to the Food Standards Agency (FSA), the recall affects some of the 275ml bottles of Tuborg lager sold in packs.
Customers have been told they will get a full refund upon return of the product.
The FSA added that no other product made by Carlsberg UK is known to be affected.
Tuborg has been part of the Danish brewing group Carlsberg since 1970, and the brand is marketed in 70 countries.
