23/09/2010 - Computers stolen in school raid
Burglars who broke into a primary school in Warwickshire stole several computers before escaping in a van, police said.
The incident occurred at around 10pm on Tuesday at the Shipston Primary School in Station Road, Shipston-on-Stour.
Police were alerted by a member of the public about the raid and they believe the burglars attempted to get inside the school through a front window before forcing open a door.
The burglary was apparently interrupted, but the intruders made off with several flat screen Apple iMac computers with white slim line keyboards.
They dropped some of the computer mice in the school hallway but stowed the rest in a van parked in front of the school. It was seen goin in the direction of Banbury.
