Christmas Crafters to bring in £376 million
Direct Line for Business research reveals that over three million Brits plan to transform their homes into workshops this festive season.
These 'Christmas Crafters' are set to generate sales of over £376 million and will be selling everything from homemade gift cards and candles, to wine glass charms and even Reindeer dust, both in person at Christmas craft fairs and online.
Devoting long hours to their home businesses, 'Christmas Crafters' are working on average 19 hours a week from October to December, despite many of these entrepreneurs also holding down fulltime jobs.
