Before you begin

The following information may help you make your claim.

Your policy number and personal details
The work you were doing and what happened
Where and when the incident took place
Details of the items you're claiming for, including their cost. We may also need to inspect damaged items, so don't chuck them out
Documents/photos to support your claim, including purchase receipts
A crime reference number if the police were involved
Details of anyone who was hurt and how
If the claim is against you, we'll need to see any correspondence between you and the claimant, as well as any contracts
