Paul Kirby's experience in the automotive industry spans over 30 years. Having delivered fleet solutions at Mercedes-Benz Vans and managed fleet operations at Wickes, as well as contributing to the development of the Light Commercial Vehicle and Electric Van strategy for Vanarama, his passion for and knowledge of the EV industry is widely known.
His interest in van electrification was sparked after driving an Electric Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van in 2004. Paul is now widely regarded as an expert on the electrification of the van sector. He has been recognised as one of the Top 100 most influential people and EV Fleet Champion in Green Fleet Magazine, and one of the Top 10 EV influencers in EV Magazine.
Paul currently runs his own business - EV Essentials Ltd - which provides consultancy, media, and training services. He is a frequent speaker at events and podcasts on the electrification of fleet.
